Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Coats, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project involves the FAS #170 Bridge Replacement. The contractor is required to complete all work as specified or indicated in the contract documents. The work is to begin no earlier than the date of the signed contract and no later than October 1, 2026, and must be substantially completed within 60 calendar days after the contract times commence. The bridge must be open for traffic between June 10, 2026, and July 4, 2026. Final completion and readiness for final payment is required in accordance with the contract provisions. Bids will be received via QuestCDN VirtuBid only from registered plan holders who have downloaded the bidding documents for a fee. Only electronic submissions via QuestCDN will be accepted. Bidders are responsible for examining and reviewing all bid documents, site conditions, and addenda. Questions regarding bids must be submitted in writing at least two calendar days before the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive technicalities, reject any or all bids, and no bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the opening. Bidders must submit bid security and, if awarded, must deliver executed contract documents and bonds within 15 days of receiving the notice of award.
