Site work and paving for a road / highway in Niles, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are sought for the 2026 Major-Local Streets Pavement Resurfacing Program in the City of Niles, Michigan. The project includes resurfacing and related work for 0.84 miles of major streets and 0.5 miles of local streets. All bidders must comply with all Federal and State non-discrimination laws and regulations, and sign a relevant certification. The successful bidder must provide a satisfactory 100% performance bond and a labor and material bond. Each proposal requires a certified check or bidder's bond for at least five percent (5%) of the proposal amount. Proposals submitted without the required certified check or bond will not be accepted. Proposals should not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days following the bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities in proposals, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City.
