The work consists of performing, installing, furnishing, and supplying all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Alumni Hall Mechanical Modifications. The main features of the work include mechanical piping installation, buffer tank installation, pump installation, HVAC controls, testing, adjusting and balancing, and electrical work associated with pumps. Bidders must purchase contract documents from Dataflow at 2215 Central Ave., Schenectady, NY, or through www.godataflow.com. Payment of a deposit is required unless the bidder is a certified Minority and Women Owned or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, in which case the deposit is waived. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions in the Information for Bidders and include security of not less than five percent of the total bid. The State of New York and SUNY encourage minority business enterprise participation, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
