Renovation of an educational facility in Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work consists of performing, installing, furnishing, and supplying all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Alumni Hall Mechanical Modifications. The main features of the work include mechanical piping installation, buffer tank installation, pump installation, HVAC controls, testing, adjusting and balancing, and electrical work associated with pumps. Bidders must purchase contract documents from Dataflow at 2215 Central Ave., Schenectady, NY, or through www.godataflow.com. Payment of a deposit is required unless the bidder is a certified Minority and Women Owned or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, in which case the deposit is waived. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions in the Information for Bidders and include security of not less than five percent of the total bid. The State of New York and SUNY encourage minority business enterprise participation, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. titled Alumni Hall Mechanical Modifications and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 11.00% WBE Goal: 19.00% To ensure that SDVOB Enterprises are afforded the opportunity for meaningful participation in the performance of the Universityís contracts, and to assist in achieving the SDVOB Act's statewide goal for participation on state contracts the University hereby establishes an overall goal of 6% for SDVOB participation for this solicitation.
