Remodeling of a medical facility in Elmira, New York. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 75,818-square-foot medical facility.
Sealed bids are requested for separate contracts covering Construction Work, HVAC Work, Plumbing Work, and Electrical Work to reconfigure bathrooms in Buildings 1, 4, 6, and 7 at Elmira Psychiatric Center, Elmira, NY. Each bid must comply with all instructions and be accompanied by a specified bid security. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) goals are set at 30% overall for Construction and Plumbing Work, with specific goals for other trades. There are also Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goals. Bidders must adhere to restrictions on communications and are expected to be familiar with and comply with State Finance Law requirements. Bidding and contract documents are available online. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for prospective bidders, with advance registration required. All bidders are expected to make good faith efforts to include MWBE and SDVOB participation where applicable. The Office of General Services reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
