The scope of work for the procurement and resulting contract is to provide concrete ties with a proven design for axle loads of 18 tons for train speeds from 220 km/h up to 354 km/h for NTP 1 materials, for use in construction on the 119-mile First Construction Section. The estimated lead time for NTP 1 is one to two months. General requirements for each material will be provided. The Contractor shall not perform any work unless the Authority issues a Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Purchase Order. The actual amount of work requested is subject to funding availability. All materials must be newly manufactured goods and conform to the technical specifications provided. All materials supplied must be Buy America and Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) compliant, in accordance with 49 U.S.C. § 22905 and 2 C.F.R. part 184.
