Renovation of a museum in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Scope of Work: Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to: repair and repaint the exterior of the structure known as the Middle-Class Growers Home, or the Bannister House, using oil-based primer and paint to match the existing colors. Work includes replacing rotted or damaged wood, preparing all surfaces, and applying a minimum of two coats of primer and paint to the siding, eaves, fascia, windows, front and side doors, and front entrance deck. The contractor will provide all necessary materials for wood repair and paint preparation, including plastic, paper, tape, caulking, patching compound, and Bondo, and will submit 2-4 color samples for department approval. All construction debris will be cleaned up and hauled away, and the contractor will manage any required rental equipment The DVBE Participation Requirement for this solicitation has been waived - however, the DVBE Incentive still applies. Deadline for Written Questions from Bidders Monday, February 2, 2026 Written compilation of all questions and answers, and any IFB addenda will be posted and emailed to identified proposers. Friday, February 6, 2026 Project Duration: 10 Calendar Days The Department of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to waive any irregularity in a bid or to reject any or all bids.
