The work consists of constructing a new string lighting system on Main Street from 5th Street to 6th Street, on 5th Street from Main Street to Orange Street, and within City Parking Lot No. 1 located at 3581 Mission Inn Avenue on the Orange Street side serving the Cheech Marin Center. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, underground trenching and installation of conduit and electrical wiring; construction of reinforced concrete footings; furnishing and installing steel poles to support the string lighting; furnishing and installing the complete string lighting system as referenced in the Special Provisions; providing traffic control; and completing all required surface restoration and reconstruction, including sidewalks, brick pavers, asphalt pavement, and landscaped areas. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all licenses necessitated by the Contractor's operations. Prior to starting any work, the Contractor shall be required to have a City of Riverside Business Tax Registration valid for the life of the Contract; subcontractors shall also have Business Tax Registrations valid for the time they are engaged in the work.
