This project construction scope includes demolition and replacement of all existing vent lines within walls and underground sanitary waste lines beneath slab-on-grade at the Child Development Center (CDC) building. Waste line replacement will require concrete saw cutting of the slab-on-grade, patch back and replacement of finishes such as floor & wall tiles and paint. This work will take place in the Child Development Center, which has age-appropriate bathroom fixtures that must be removed and reinstalled at the same locations and heights to comply with state certification requirements. Additionally, careful relocation, preservation and protection of existing furniture will be necessary. Construction must occur within a narrow timeframe with a fixed Final Completion date, which may require multiple shifts per day, overtime, and/or weekend work.
