Sealed bids must be addressed and marked with "Bid on LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT," identifying the address and job number, and received in the Rehab Division of the Planning Department, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, before the stated closing time. Attention is required to pay no less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. Contractors must ensure nondiscrimination in hiring practices. Bidders must file a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage ($1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate) protecting the property owner. Evidence of workman's compensation insurance must also be shown before proceeding. The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.
