Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required for the project designated as PCSMP BASIN INFRASTRUCTURE for Sanitary and Improvement District 647, Douglas County, Nebraska. The work consists essentially of the following items: clearing and grubbing, mobilization, installation and maintenance of silt fence, removal of silt fence, maintenance of construction entrance, installation of erosion control blanket (Type II), installation of seeding (Type B), construction of 24" and 30" RCP (Class III) with aggregate bedding, PCSMP outlet structure, construction of 60" I.D. storm manhole, construction of 30" R.C. flared end section, dewatering, exploratory excavation, cleanout of water quality basin, installation of reinforced concrete pipe couplers, and construction of Type B rip-rap. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by FOLEYSHALD ENGINEERING and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of not less than $7,900.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District 647. The successful bidder will be required to provide a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the date set for opening of bids. All proposals must be in a sealed envelope addressed to the Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District 647 and marked with "PCSMP BASIN INFRASTRUCTURE" and the bidder's name and address. The Bid Security must be in a separate sealed envelope attached to the Proposal envelope and marked "BID SECURITY" with the project identified. Proposals received after the specified time will be returned unopened. The work shall be done under written contract with the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid in accordance with the plans and specifications. Sanitary and Improvement District 647 of Douglas County, Nebraska, reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities and irregularities.
