This project consists of ADA curb ramp construction, miscellaneous curb repair, and curb inlet top replacement. Bidders must submit an Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) and may qualify for Apprentice utilization by attaching an Apprenticeship Incentive Form (AIF) with their bid submission. A bid bond is required; it must be issued by a surety company licensed by the State of Nebraska and listed on the current edition of Circular 570 of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Acceptable substitutes for a bid bond include a certified check, official bank check, cashier's check on a national or state-chartered bank, payable to the City of Omaha, lawful money of the United States, or a U.S. Government Bond (negotiable). Letters of credit are not acceptable and will result in bid rejection. A copy of the bid bond or acceptable substitute must be uploaded with the bid, and the original document delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days of bid closing. Bidders must submit questions in the Questions tab of the bid event, with answers provided within one day of the cutoff date and time.
