The project consists of landscape maintenance at six parks in Union City. Maintenance includes fertilization, soil building, hardwood mulch, pruning, mowing, weed/insect/disease control, litter control, and any other procedures outlined in the project specifications. In addition to maintenance, a lump sum allocation is established for the bidder to install landscape improvements in some of the parks if and where directed by the City. Maintenance shall begin no later than April 1, 2026, and be ongoing in the six parks until November 27, 2026. Proposals must be made on the standard bid form as designated in the contract documents and enclosed in sealed envelopes with all required surety, bid bond, or certified check, original and copies. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the project and comply with applicable legal requirements as specified.
