The City of Binghamton is seeking proposals for the purchase, delivery, and installation of an Air Source Heat Pump system, a Heat Pump Water Heater system, Interior Lighting Retrofit, Weather Stripping and Caulking, Insulating the Building Envelope, Insulating Building Envelope and Insulating Domestic Hot Water Pipes as identified within the attached Clean Energy Communities Energy Study for the Senior Center at 226 Clinton Street. The Contractor will also be responsible for the removal and disposal of replaced equipment no longer in use. Contractors will conduct a pre-bid site visit, develop a Work Plan, and submit this plan along with a construction schedule for approval. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, accessories, etc., for the design, purchase, delivery, and installation of the equipment. All work must comply with applicable building, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC codes, and the Contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary permits. All goods and services must comply with OSHA regulations, and installations must follow manufacturer's recommendations. The Contractor must also provide training, warranty documents, and respond to service inquiries during the warranty period. The selected installer must meet utility incentive program requirements and have appropriate certification and documentation. Proposals must include a description of the vendor's qualifications, experience with similar equipment, an itemized cost estimate for identified measures, and adherence to the detailed scope of work and technical requirements described above.
