KCI Technologies, Inc. and subconsultants have been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform NBIS inspection of various bridges in 2026 throughout Districts 4, 5, and 8. The bridges or portions thereof carry state routes over Norfolk Southern Railroad. The contract covers non-professional services for PennDOT Bridge Inspections (Various Locations) ECMS No. E05998. Services include the use of under bridge inspection access, inspection support services, maintenance and protection of traffic during inspections, and proper operation and maintenance of all equipment and vehicles per manufacturer specifications. Workdays may not be consecutive and are subject to weather conditions. The number of days or structures inspected may be increased or decreased as necessary for successful completion. Bids are accepted for any or all of the three districts and will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder for each item. Only bids submitted via PennBid will be accepted, and KCI reserves the right to reject any bids not conforming to requirements. Questions regarding the bid should be submitted through the Clarifications feature within PennBid. Complete bid packages may be obtained at no cost via PennBid.
