Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of rehabilitating and repairing the bridge, upgrading the bridge railing, installing moment slabs, installing an approach guiderail, asphalt paving, repairing concrete, and all other associated work listed in the project manual and indicated on the plans. There will be no Pre-Bid meeting for this project. All questions must be posted at online. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Upper Nazareth Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Upper Nazareth Township at ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The work on this project constitutes Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that workers employed on this project must be paid the prevailing minimum wage rates promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the opening date. Upper Nazareth Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. A late Winter / early Spring 2026 notice-to-proceed is anticipated.
