Labor and materials for the installation of replacement bulkheads at Wolf Creek Park. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary for the installation of approximately 580 linear feet of metal sheet pile bulkhead, grading and resodding/reseeding disturbed areas so that area resembles condition prior to construction. Project is located at Wolf Creek Park, San Jacinto County, Texas. All questions regarding this bid specification prior to bid opening must be addressed to the purchasing department via the WEBSITE. BIDDERS ARE SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCTED NOT TO CONTACT AUTHORITY PERSONNEL BETWEEN THE TIME OF BID OPENING AND BID AWARD SPECIFICATIONS SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall furnish and install 580 linear feet of 5 gauge (minimum) galvanized interlocking steel sheeting. Length of sheet pile to be determined by water depth and site location. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall furnish and install 6-inch x 6-inch x 3/8-inch galvanized angle iron top caps. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall furnish and install CCA treated posts, 8" to 10" diameters on top and minimum of 8' long and 10' on centers for the Anchor Pile. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall furnish and install Anchor Ties of 3/4 inch hot dipped galvanized steel rod with 3/4 inch allthread welded on each end to wrap around deadmen. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall furnish and install treated 4" x 4" wood sections in front of deadmen for additional support. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall provide and transport all fill material, and fill material placed shall be compacted. Fill used to smooth/level up behind the bulkhead shall be free of rocks and or trash and finished in such a manner to allow for grass mowing. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall provide final grading and resod/reseed disturbed areas so that area resembles condition prior to construction. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall resod the disturbed area from the new bulkhead to 25 feet behind the new bulkhead, and reseed/hydro mulch the remaining disturbed area beyond the initial 25 feet. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall protect the work area including and not limited to the work site, machinery on the site, stockpiled materials, debris, work in process and any and all other elements of this project from public contact which could result in injury. The work site is to be left in a secured condition anytime work is not ongoing. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall follow all other notes and details as provided in Attachment C.
