Contract Term: June 30 - November 6, 2026 CR#: 2135497 Location: 37 Depot Street - Franklin Overall scope is for Contractor to provide all labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary for the site enhancements project at the Tupper Lake Train Station located at 37 Depot Street, Tupper Lake, NY. The scope includes grading, sidewalks and paths, curbing, pavement, utilities, and other ancillary and associated work. Conduct all work in accordance with all applicable codes and standards as detailed by the Project Plans. Clean and remove all construction debris and excavated materials and properly dispose of. Restore areas disturbed or otherwise impacted by construction activity to preexisting conditions, unless otherwise noted. Question Deadline 06/04/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. The Town of Tupper Lake is a municipal entity and is exempt from paying sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York, and its cities and counties, on all materials to be incorporated into the work. This project is funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth Program, through appropriations from the New York State Environmental Protection Fund (EPF), Contract Numbers C02607 and C03387GM. All work performed under this contract is subject to the terms and conditions of those grant agreements. This project is subject to the requirements of New York State Executive Law Article 15-A and 5 NYCRR Part 142 governing participation by Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs). New York State has established an MWBE participation goal of 30% for this contract. MWBE Utilization Plan. Each bidder must submit a completed MWBE Utilization Plan with its bid. The Utilization Plan form is included in the Project Manual. The Plan must identify the certified MWBE subcontractors or suppliers the bidder intends to use, describe the work to be performed, and state the estimated dollar value or percentage of contract work each MWBE will perform. Failure to submit a completed MWBE Utilization Plan may result in a finding of non-responsiveness. The successful bidder shall procure and maintain, at its own expense and without expense to the Town or the State, the insurance coverages described in the Section Supplemental Conditions of the Project Manual for the duration of the contract. Certificates of insurance and required endorsements must be submitted to the Town within 10 days of contract award and prior to the commencement of any work. Any delay resulting from failure to provide required insurance shall not constitute grounds for a delay claim.
