Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Waukee, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project is for the WCSD High School Track & Turf Field Replacement. The work involves removal of approximately 6,700 SY of track and D-zone surfaces and asphalt, 10,160 SY of synthetic turf, and 1,250 LF of track curbs. The project also includes installation of approximately 6,400 SY of track and D-zone surfaces and asphalt, 1,250 LF of track curbs, 10,160 SY of synthetic turf, and 300 SY of miscellaneous concrete walks. Additional elements include cement-treated subgrade, rock subbase, subdrains, trench drain, seeding, and erosion control. Sealed lump sum bids are required. Each bidder must provide bid security as specified. Bidders must also be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond for the faithful performance of the contract. Out-of-state bidders must provide an Out-of-State Contractor Bond as per regulations. Sales tax should not be included in bids. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
