This project consists of a new 125,354 square foot Fieldhouse. Physical bids for the bid categories described in the Project Manual are required. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bids must accompany each proposal. All contractors bidding on work in excess of $50,000 must be bondable and must include in their proposal the cost for furnishing a performance bond and payment bond listing Traverse City Area Public Schools as obligee. All bids submitted shall remain valid for a period of sixty consecutive calendar days after the bid date. The owner and construction manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid which, in their opinion, will best serve their interests. Minority and women's business enterprises shall have an equal opportunity to participate as contractors for this project.
