East Bay Township is seeking to improve Grace Macdonald Park with a number of improvements in 2026 and 2027. Contractor has a choice of Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 construction; please specify your preference for construction as Spring, Fall, or Both. The intended 2026 construction work contains the following improvements: - Base Bid: Construction of two concrete cornhole courts with adjoining ADA concrete walkway connections. - Alternate 1: Construction of an additional four concrete cornhole courts. - Alternate 2: Additional seating area and new fire pit and seatwall adjacent to the pavilion with new gas and electrical lines. - Alternate 3: A substitution of concrete pavement instead of pavers at the Alternate 2 fire pit area. The intended 2027 construction work is included for budgetary purposes, with the request for budgetary costs on Alternates 4-7 based on 2026 construction costs. These alternates are: - Alternate 4: Concrete curb along parking lot to assist with drainage by the baseball bleacher area. - Alternate 5: Construction of a new walkway, seating area, seatwall, and new hoops at the basketball court. - Alternate 6: Construction of new walkways throughout the park to connect the restroom, playgrounds, baseball bleachers, and future dog park. - Alternate 7: Converting the existing sports field into a new dog park including concrete seating areas, pavilions, fencing, dog amenity structures, and a dog wash station with water, sanitary, and electrical.
