This opportunity is for the construction services for the Dunbarton Indoor Pool Roof Replacement. The work includes removing and replacing the existing Siporex roof deck, localized repairs to the low roof, and providing a new access stair from the low roof to the high roof. All goods, services, and construction must be provided in accordance with the specified scope of work, specifications, drawings, and any addenda. Bidders must be a single legal entity that is not a U.S. Business and must be registered with the City's electronic bidding system. The bid must include the completed submission form, pricing, subcontractors information, and bid security in the form of an electronically verifiable digital bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price. No changes can be made to the mandatory submission forms except inserting the requested information. The selected bidder will be required to provide performance and labour and material bonds, insurance certificates, a current clearance certificate from the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, the City's Health and Safety Regulations Acknowledgement Form, and a Waste Management Plan. All pricing should be all-inclusive, submitted electronically, and prepared in Canadian funds exclusive of HST. Bids will be evaluated for compliance with submission and technical requirements. The lowest compliant bidder will be selected. All bids must be in English, and communication regarding this opportunity must be through the City's bidding system.
