Completed plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; for site work for a service station / car wash facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; service station / car wash facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Construction a Truck Station Building. 2. Construction of a Brine Building. 3. Construction of an Unheated Storage Building. 4. Construction of a Salt Shelter. 5. Construction of two Covered Storage Bins. 6. Sitework, Utilities, and Paving. 7. Turf Establishment. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor (not as a subcontractor) the work for at least 3 contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 1, 2021, for construction of commercial projects and general contracting type construction. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $4,000,000 or greater. OR In lieu of Responding company's projects, Responder may provide on the form up to 3 qualified projects completed by the Project Manager while employed by others which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 1, 2021, for construction of commercial projects. Each of these contracts must have had a construction value of $4,000,000 or greater. These projects must contain general contracting type construction. Project Manager and Job Superintendent listed each has had at least 3 contracts which have thirty-six months of experience in that role with construction of commercial projects. Each of these contracts must have had a value of $2,000,000 or greater. These projects must contain general contracting type construction. This Project has a 7% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal. The TG/ED/VO subcontracting goal will not be a consideration in determining the lowest responsible Prime Contractor. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the project's specifications and scope of work. It is highly encouraged potential responders review Section 00 73 16 Insurance Requirements, as well as AIA A201, Article 11 of the project manual in the solicitation before submitting a response.
