Furnish all labor, parts and materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, tasks, and incidental and customary work necessary to competently perform on-call plumbing maintenance and repair work at various City facilities. Work includes laying out, installing, replacing, piping, and testing plumbing service and plumbing systems and components. Systems include domestic water, heating, cooling, hot water systems, conditioned water systems, sanitary sewer, and storm systems as well as toilets, urinals, and sinks. Work also includes providing a safe water supply, proper disposal of fluid waste, piping, storage tanks and venting for gases and liquids, all gas appliances, flues and gas connections (except forced warm air units), water and gas piping from the property owner's side of the utility meter, installation of equipment to heat water or fluids, and the maintenance and replacement of all described items and associated health and safety devices such as gas earthquake valves, gas control valves, back flow preventers, water conditioning equipment, and regulating valves. Contractor(s) will be expected to retain and provide professional personnel with relevant experience, provide services in accordance with industry standards and applicable laws, provide appropriate tools and vehicles, maintain proper licensing and certification, leave work areas clean, discard used materials, and ensure proper site safety.
