As of May 11, 2026, a design firm has been selected. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Portland Public Schools requests qualifications from an energy services company (ESCO) for energy conservation and/or combined energy conservation and air quality improvement project(s) at District schools and facilities. Interested energy services companies shall submit three duplicate copies of their qualifications in accordance with this request to bids@portlandschools.org with the name of the Bidder, contract name, and #26056 in the subject line. Alternatively, sealed proposals may be submitted by mail or in person to Nicole Levay, Purchasing Manager, 353 Cumberland Ave, Portland, ME 04101. Copies of the specifications and proposal form are available by contacting the Purchasing Office either by phone or e-mail.
