Site work and new construction of a power facility in Seward, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility.
The work consists of furnishing and installing two 40 kW propane generators with propane tanks and switch gear, performing electrical work, and making SCADA improvements (with SCADA by Don's Electric and Rewind, or equal). Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis. Bidders are to obtain bidding documents from the designated website or issuing office, and must register as a plan holder for updates and official notifications. Only full sets of documents from the designated sources are valid. Electronic copies are free, while each paper set costs $150 with no refunds. For further details on bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents. The project is subject to the American Iron and Steel requirements instituted by Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 and subsequent appropriations, with certain waivers applying to this contract. Question Deadline 02/05/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
