The City of El Segundo Public Works Department is soliciting proposals for City Janitorial Services The City of El Segundo Public Works Department is accepting proposals for janitorial services from qualified and insured firm(s) to service approximately 138,000 square feet of City-owned facilities. Each response must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked: "RFP #26-01 Janitorial Services" The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids received; to take all bids under advisement for up to 120 days after opening; to waive any informality on any bid; and to be the sole judges of the relative merits of the material mentioned in the respective proposals received. The Council also reserves the right to reject any item(s), award more than one contract for each of the items and reject proposals that are not accompanied by the requested information. All inquiries concerning this RFP must be directed in writing to Erica Miramontes, Senior Management Analyst at emiramontes@elsegundo.org. All inquiries must be received by 3:00 p.m. (PST), February 9, 2026. All responses to all questions from all Proposers will be posted on the City's website on February 13, 2026. Proposers shall provide: FOUR (4) complete paper copies of the proposal in a sealed envelope with the company name and clearly marked with the words "RFP #26-01 Janitorial Services", and ONE (1) electronic copy of the proposal, in a single PDF file, to allcityclerks@elsegundo.org. The naming convention for the file is "26-01 company name". It is the proposer's sole responsibility to verify that the electronic submission is received by the City Clerk's office by the due date and time.
