The project is expected to be awarded on May 19,2026.** The project consists of furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools, and incidentals as required in the specifications and contract documents for the "Phase 2 City Hall HVAC Improvement Project" and related work as shown on the plans filed with the City's Public Works Department. The work will take place at City Hall, 350 Main Street in El Segundo, CA. The work must be performed in strict conformity with Specifications No. PW 25-18: Phase 2 City Hall HVAC Improvements Project as adopted by the El Segundo City Council. Bidders must provide a minimum of five government agency references, preferably municipal, for building similar projects as the prime contractor in the past five years. Bids must be prepared on the approved Proposal forms and submitted to the City Clerk in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond for no less than ten percent of the amount bid for the base contract. Acceptable license classes are "A", "B", or "C-20". Successful contractors and subcontractors are required to possess the correct licenses for their classifications and valid City Business Licenses from El Segundo. Payment of State prevailing rates of wages is required, and compliance with applicable labor codes, federal labor standards, and affirmative action regulations must be ensured. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of ninety calendar days.
