Pool Liner Installation - Broad Ripple and Frederick Douglass Parks Pool Liner Remove and replace pool liner at Broad Ripple and Frederick Douglass Parks Pool, including floor, walls and gutter. 1. Remove and dispose of existing pool liner, underlayment and accessories completely down to concrete or metal surface. 2. Contractor shall remove any water and debris from pool basin prior to starting liner installation. 3. Contractor shall prepare existing surface for new PVC liner install, including cracks and joints, according to specifications. 4. Install liner system on floor of pool and turn up walls, continue over gutter and terminate above gutter line. a. New liner to match existing liner exactly, unless otherwise approved by Owner prior to bid. This includes under slide end sections and play features, contractor to remove and reinstall play features as needed. 5. Contractor shall install lane marking and targets on the new PVC liner to match the lane markings and targets layout on the existing pool liner (including 4" white line in center of the black lane lines). 6. PVC liner shall be installed on all ramps and stairs to match existing. Clarifications 1. Owner is not required to provide means for draining pool basin or water supply. 2. Contractor may utilize available power on site, confirm availability prior to bid. Owner will not provide extension cords. 3. Contractor to confirm exact dimensions of pool basin prior to bid. 4. Contractor responsible for removing, protecting and reinstalling existing equipment (grates, ladders, piping, etc.) required to complete the work, unless noted otherwise.
