DeKalb County Central United School District is seeking proposals for a project to supply new, factory-sealed network equipment at its eligible locations. No installation is required. The agreement should allow the district to adjust quantities, scale back, or cancel the project as needed, based on funding availability or the district's best interests. Only new equipment with original manufacturer warranties will be accepted; used, remanufactured, refurbished, or discontinued equipment is not acceptable. Responses must include all related software and hardware components, specify any associated charges and warranties, list ongoing subscription pricing separately, and provide line-item pricing with any discounts at the item level. If proposing equivalent products, technical descriptions must demonstrate equivalent functionality. Vendors must provide company certifications, experience with the manufacturer's equipment, and two references with at least one preferable within 90 miles of the district. An E-Rate SPIN Number and a ready-to-execute contract including the specified requirements and contingencies must be included. The cost of eligible goods and services will be the most heavily weighted evaluation factor. Proposals must specifically address the listed equipment and services; generic or automated bids will be disqualified. Bidders must submit both a hard copy and an electronic version of their bids, with required forms, by the specified deadline. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities or errors permitted by law.
