Renovation of an educational facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number P-1636, titled Podium Canopy Repairs Catskill - Arts & Sciences and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. Work of this contract includes removals and repair of spalled/delaminated concrete of canopy ceiling, overhangs, and columns, and the exterior concrete restoration of building facades and demolition / PCB abatement work. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) SDVOB Goal: 6.00% Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 11.00% WBE Goal: 19.00% Work of this contract includes removals and repair of spalled/delaminated concrete of the columns, concrete ribs, and facades by use of swing scaffolding or lifts supplied and installed by the contractor. All work shall be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. Contractor must be able to secure a performance bond for the full amount of their bid and should be prepared to anticipate a value in excess of $1,200,000 for this project. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
