Sealed proposals are requested for resurfacing and paving for Loyalsock Township, Second Class of Lycoming County. The work involves approximately 4,459 tons of wearing course and approximately 49,547 square yards of milling. Complete specifications are available at the township office. Prevailing wage rates apply according to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. Proposals must be submitted using forms provided by the municipality. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for 10% of the bid amount, made payable to the municipality. The successful bidder is required to provide payment and performance bonds or certified checks totaling 100% of the contract amount within 20 days after award. All proposal envelopes must be clearly marked "Resurfacing/Paving Bid." The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the township.
