General Including but is Not Limited to Minor Demolition; Brick Repointing and Replacement; Carpentry Work, Wood Studs; Batt Insulation, Joint Sealants; Aluminum Entrances and Door Hardware, Windows, Glass and Glazing; Gypsum Board, Floor, Wall and Ceiling Finishes; Interior Signage, Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets; Solid Surface Windowsills and Wall Cap; Hvac Work; and Electrical Work. Prime Contracts Shall Consist of: General Construction; Hvac Construction, Electrical Construction. A Performance and Payment Bond, Each for One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Charge Will Be Required. The Successful Prime Bidder Shall Also Furnish to the Owner a Maintenance Bond Covering Defects of Material and Workmanship for the Calendar Year Following the Owner's Approval and Acceptance of the Construction. Bonds Must Be Furnished From a Bonding Company With an a- or Better Rating. Your Firm Will Be Required to Provide a Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of a Sum No Less Than 10 Percent of the Bid Price. Any Successful Bidder Must Enter Into an Agreement in the Form Prescribed in the Contract Documents and Must Furnish Evidence of Required Insurance Coverage at the Time and in the Manner Specifically Set Forth in the Contract Documents. Bids May Be Held by the Owner, for Up to Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders Prior to Awarding the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Irregularities, or to Negotiate Contract Amounts.
