Renovation of a medical facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is accepting Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural and engineering consulting firms detailing the firm's qualifications, technical experience, management and staffing capabilities, references, and prior knowledge for a capital improvement project to renovate and upgrade the Front Lobby and Reception Area of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department. The scope of work will include substantial renovations and upgrades to transform the front lobby and reception area into a more modernized design with enhanced securities to improve functionality and to provide a secure environment for our employees and visitors. Professional services sought may include but are not limited to architecture and design services, preliminary and general engineering services, cost estimates, site renderings, surveying, permitting, preparation of construction plans and technical specifications, bidding and contracting assistance, including evaluation of bids, construction administration services, and construction observation services. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any proposal submitted if doing so is in the Department's best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
