Services will be done on an as-needed basis, as directed/requested by the Office of Building, Plumbing And Fire Safety . Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Cheektowaga, New York, or bond with sufficient sureties to be approved by the Town Attorney, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, conditioned that if the bidders proposal is accepted, the bidder will enter into a contract for the same, and that the bidder will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Town of Cheektowaga for January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 The Town Board reserves the right to consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of the specifications and contract documents, and may waive any informalities, make an award to other than the low bidder, should it be in the best interest of the Town, or reject any or all bids.
