Work will be on as as-needed basis. The scope of work is for furnishing equipment and operators for providing and installing emergency temporary fencing on private properties in the Town of Cheektowaga for the calendar year 2026. Instructions to bidders include: - Bid proposals must be marked with the bid number and addressed to the Clerk Office at Town Hall, 3301 Broadway, Cheektowaga, NY 14227. - Sealed proposals are due in possession of the Town of Cheektowaga by February 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM. - Upon submission, no bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the bid opening date. - The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, consider informal bids not prepared in accordance with the specifications, waive informalities, and make an award to a bidder that is not the lowest, should it be in the town's best interest. - All bids must have a certified check or surety bond equal to five percent of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the Town Law Department, conditioned upon the Town's acceptance and awarding of the bid. Upon entering contract, further security as required by the Town for faithful performance must be executed. Proposals are being solicited from private companies to perform various services listed in these specifications on behalf of the Town of Cheektowaga. Work will be done on an as-needed basis, as directed/requested by the Building, Plumbing and Fire Safety Department. This contract is for Residential and Commercial property enclosure and is not intended to include town owned properties, cemeteries or other excluded properties. Should the selected company be unwilling to perform services outlined and described then the Town is free to pursue other bids and contractors for those tasks.
