Renovation of a recreation facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.

The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of supply, installation, start-up, and warranty of Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex Refrigeration Equipment Updates, located at 16555 Fraser Hwy, Surrey, British Columbia (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. The general components of the Work include: Off-loading and rigging of all equipment and materials. Three-day instruction period. One year labour and material warranty (on-site) commencing from time of City acceptance of the system. Obtaining all necessary permits and pay all related fees. Priming and painting. Providing Shop drawings, as-built drawings and four sets of instruction manuals. Registering the design with the Provincial Government. Provide all information, stress, loading and seismic calculations as required for registration and approval. Pay for and arrange all inspections and quality control verifications as required by inspecting authorities. Providing ammonia and water piping, equalizing and purge connections, and valves. Supply new control valves, relief valves, controls, thermostats, float switches, and pressure switches. Supply and install sleeves, cans, enclosures, and anchor bolts. Flashing, counterflashing, coring, caulking, and sealing for all pipe penetrations. All sleeving unless specifically excluded. Thermal insulation or drip pans under or on all surfaces that may form frost or condensation. Pipe, valve and equipment identification for new equipment and lines. Power and control wiring from disconnects and starters to all new items supplied. Removal and disposal of the existing equipment and any existing piping not being reused including the dehumidifier for rink 3. Removing glycol pump and piping for the existing Rink 3 dehumidifier. Providing an updated computer program to include the new equipment being added. Providing unloaders for two compressors, and DDC control for all three compressors. Provide oil solenoids with timers for all three compressors. Replacing the existing hot gas solenoid feeding the desuperheater for the glycol heating system with a new solenoid valve sized for the reduced load on the heating system. Providing security fencing for any equipment placed outside the plant room
