Summary Details The City of Cranbrook has approximately 67km of longitudinal lines, hundreds of crosswalks, elephant foot markings, and turn lane arrows. Other specialty markings include bicycle lane symbols, sharrows, diamonds, and handicap parking symbols. The City paints its 10 parking lots on a year-by-year rotational basis. There are around 7.5km of painted curbs in Cranbrook, comprised of both yellow curbs for no parking, red curbs for bus stops, and blue curbs for handicap parking stalls, which are painted on a rotational basis. The City has a paved multi-use path network that has approximately 8.4km of solid yellow centerline that gets painted intermittently. Occasionally, a small amount of line/marking eradication is required of the contractor. This typically occurs when new line or marking alignments are required due to a change in traffic patterns.
