Site work for a water / sewer project in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids for #2026-01 STORMWATER LINING PROJECT will be received by the Finance Director at the City Building, #1 Government Square, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Bids must be submitted in a plainly marked envelope. Only one proposal may be submitted by each respondent unless alternate bid specifications are included. Each bid must contain the full name and address of all interested parties, including the President and Secretary if it is a corporation. A certified check, bank draft, or surety bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid is required. The Finance Director reserves the right to reject all or part of any bids. E.E.O. Clause statements and applicable federal non-discrimination and labor requirements are incorporated. Vendors must be registered in West Virginia. The City does not discriminate based on disability in its programs or employment. All work shall be performed as indicated on plans and specification and include every aspect of work as obvious or implied and necessary to make work complete and fully operational. The general scope of work for this project is as follows: a. Provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to completely rehabilitate existing gravity feed storm lines as indicated on plans/item list with suitable cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining product. The cured pipe material shall satisfy all requirements set forth in the Technical Specifications listed below (pg. 10). b. It is the bidder's responsibility to verify all parameters of each location of storm systems to be lined prior to bidding and prior to starting lining process. This shall include but not limited to, excavation to access to storm lines and restoration of said excavations. This shall be a turnkey project and the use of City personnel to assist with the process will Not be provided c. Debris removed from storm line can be placed at City-designated area located at 2507 Camden Avenue. All other trash and debris is the contractor's responsibility to properly dispose of. d. If water is required, Contractor may pump water from City Park pond, Southwood Park pond, or may obtain a hydrant meter from the Parkersburg Utility Board (304-424-8536). *** The use of water inversion is not permitted for the installation of lining. *** The use of PVC base structural liner will not be permitted. The general scope of work shall include the furnishing of all labor, machinery, tools, appurtenances, equipment, transportation, utility services, other special structures, and all other means necessary to construct and complete the 2026-01 STORM WATER LINING PROJECT. All work shall be completed in full compliance with the Drawings, the Proposal, the Contract, and these Specifications.
