Gering Public Schools is accepting sealed bids for the high school track replacement located at Gering High School, 1500 U Street. The work consists of all construction indicated on the drawings and specifications, including but not limited to: removal and replacement of an 8-lane asphalt running track, track surfacing, grading, concrete pavement, turf renovation, and irrigation modifications. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid security in the amount of five percent of the total bid, made payable to Gering Public Schools. The check or bid security shall be forfeited to Gering Public Schools if the bidder to whom an award is made refuses or fails to enter into an agreement, as required by the specifications, within ten calendar days after being notified of such award. Gering Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to make awards on bids which, in their judgment, furnish the materials and construction that will best serve the interests of Gering Public Schools.
