The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, superintendence, and skills to complete the rehabilitation of one 1,000,000-gallon welded steel water storage tank located at 3651 Lott Street, Endicott, New York. Both the exterior and interior of the tank shall be rehabilitated. The tank is 30 feet tall and 76 feet in diameter, with a roof supported by interior beams and columns, two manway hatches at ground level, one roof hatch, an interior ladder, an exterior ladder, a vent, and antennas on the roof with wires along the exterior ladder. Bidders are required to comply with the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates under the contract, as specified in Section 220-I of NYS Labor Law, and must provide a Certificate of Registration as part of their bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Village of Endicott, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the bid opening, unless a mistake due to error is claimed by the bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in bids or reject any or all bids.
