The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications including but not necessarily limited to excavation, milling, asphalt paving, signing, and pavement markings. The project is a pavement preservation on Vestal Avenue/North Street, beginning at the paving joint at 231 Vestal Avenue and continuing north to the intersection of North Street, and on North Street beginning at the paving joint at South Liberty Avenue and continuing east to the intersection with Vestal Avenue. This is a Federal Aid Project and must follow NYSDOT Standard Specifications. There are set employment and reporting goals and requirements. Bidders must submit sealed bids including all required certifications and bid security, comply with prevailing wage requirements, and ensure registration with the NYS Department of Labor with an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to award. Bids must be received by the specified deadline, clearly labeled, and in accordance with the provided directions. Performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder. The Village of Endicott reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five days, waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the one deemed in its best interest, subject to approval by the Village Board. The work is to be completed and ready for final payment within 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
