Question Deadline 02/13/2026 Specification questions during the bid period shall be submitted in writing to Purchasing Specialist, Wanda Weaks, wweaks@fbfl.org The deadline for questions is ten days before bid opening. ARC Windows and Storefront Glass Replacement. Submittals will not be considered from any firm that is not represented at the Mandatory Pre-bid meeting. Any bidder who arrives after the meeting has concluded will not be considered. Vendors should submit responses through the DemandStar website. The City asks that all vendors register with DemandStar for notification of open ITBs, RFPs and RFQs. Vendors who obtain documents from a source other than DemandStar are cautioned that the information may be incomplete. In accordance with Item 16, General Terms and Conditions, please provide proof that the Contractor/Vendor is not listed in the Excluded Parties List System, a federal suspension and debarment listing. SCOPE OF WORK The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida (City) is requesting sealed competitive bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of windows and storefront glass at the Atlantic Recreation Center located at 2500 Atlantic Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL. The work will consist of the replacement of the following: o 11 fixed pane windows located on the east side of the administration building (Ref picture #1) o 7 fixed pane windows located on the south side of the administration building (Ref picture #2) All work will be in accordance with the following specifications: 1. Replacement windows shall be Anderson 100 Series, fixed dual pane, Low-E rating. 2. Replacement windows frames shall be dark bronze in color for both exterior and interior, where break metal trim is used it should be colored to match. 3. Replacement windows shall be a full size of fixed design and be installed in existing openings. 4. Replacement windows shall be sized to fit into existing window openings with 1/4" on all sides unless approved by the City prior to their installation. 5. Replacement windows shall be installed using Prosoco R-guard liquid flashing and Tremco Dymonic 100 urethane sealants or an equivalent approved by the City. 6. All exterior and interior trim around window opens to be repainted where applicable. 7. All installation work shall come with a 1-year warranty. 8. Cost shall include permitting, mobilization, project set-up, safety equipment, boom lift, waste disposal, and site clean-up. Bid additives will consist of the replacement of storefront glass door and window assemblies as detailed below: o Storefront windows and glass door located on the north side of the administration building (Ref picture #3) o Storefront windows and glass door located on the west side of the administration building (Ref picture #4) o Storefront glass door and windows located on the west side of the auditorium building (Ref picture #5) o 1 storefront glass door and windows located on the west side of the Auditorium building (Ref picture #6) All work will be in accordance with the following specifications: 1.
