Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Community Crossings Matching Grant - Application #15151, which consists of paving and associated work items on various streets throughout the City of Greendale. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project title and bidder's name and address. Bidders must use the forms provided in the contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond of at least 5% of the bid amount, as evidence of intent to enter the contract if awarded. Approved performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price are required, in force for the contract term plus twelve months from substantial completion. Bids can be delivered by mail, courier, or in person, and late bids will be returned unopened. Bids remain valid for at least sixty days after closing. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, combine bids, or waive informalities. Bidders must be prepared to provide qualification information if requested, and the owner may investigate the ability to perform the work. If the project is $150,000 or more, bidders must submit a written plan for an employee drug testing program as per Indiana law. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the project site and reviewing all contract documents and specifications.
