Renovation of a multi-residential development in Vincennes, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The work involves the replacement of air handling units at Project 2-2, Old French Towne Apartments, located at 600 Nicholas Street, Vincennes, Indiana. The contractor is required to provide all labor and materials necessary for this replacement. Performance of the work must comply with the plans and specifications available at the Office of the Architect and the Office of the Executive Director. Bids must be executed using the provided Proposal Form and accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond, cashier's check, certified check, or deposit for at least five percent of the total bid price. Bids should be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope with the required details. The contractor awarded the project must furnish approved Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond each for 100% of the contract amount, with the Owner covering the bond cost upon receipt of the bonding company's receipt. All iron, steel, and manufactured goods used must be produced in the United States as per Buy American requirements. Wage rates paid must align with Department of Housing & Urban Development / Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage standards. Bidding documents can be obtained from the Office of the Architect for a deposit, refundable for bona fide bidders returning documents within the specified period. Supplementary drawings and specification sheets are available for a reproduction cost. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive informalities or errors in bidding.
