Renovation of a multi-residential development in Vincennes, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
All labor and material required to replace the fire alarm and smoke detector system at Project 2-3, Piankeshaw Place, Vincennes Housing Authority, Vincennes, Indiana. Bids must be executed in accordance with the attached Proposal Form, Questionnaire Form 96A (or certified CPA Financial Statement) and accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond, cashier's check, certified check or deposit, payable to Vincennes Housing Authority for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Bids must be delivered in a sealed opaque envelope addressed to Office of the Executive Director, Vincennes Housing Authority, 501 Hart Street, Vincennes, Indiana 47591 and show bidder's name, address, name of project, and contract(s) bidding. Should a bidder withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after opening without written consent of the Owner or fail to execute a satisfactory contract within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance, the Owner may declare the bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages. Contractor receiving award shall furnish, at the directive of the Owner, an approved Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount at least equal to 100% of the contract amount. Owner will pay for bonds upon receiving a copy of the bonding company's receipt. Performance of the work shall be in accordance with plans and specifications on file at the offices of the Architect and the Executive Director. Wage rate to be paid under this contract shall satisfy the wage rate as required by the Department of Housing & Urban Development / Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage. PHAs shall follow Buy American requirements of Section 1605 of the Recovery Act and use only iron, steel and manufactured goods produced in the United States in their projects.
