Site work for a civil project in Byromville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Statements of qualifications and proposals are requested from engineering firms with a strong record in assisting local governments with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs. Responding firms must be technically qualified and licensed in Georgia to provide services. The contract will be for preliminary design services for a potential FY2026 CDBG/EIP/GEFA project and, if funded, for implementation engineering services. The project aims to provide water, sewer, street, and/or drainage improvements. Each proposal should include: history of the firm and resources, experience with CDBG/EIP/GEFA and other DCA grant programs, key personnel and their qualifications, current workload, scope and level of proposed service, experience with similar projects and references, fees and/or percentages for the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and construction management services, errors and omissions insurance, and a Statement of Qualifications Form. The draft PER is needed by March 1, 2026. Interested parties should request the Statement of Qualifications Form before preparing and submitting proposals. Proposals must be received by 5:00 PM on February 16, 2026. The sealed envelope should be clearly marked “FY2026 CDBG – Engineering SOQ” and submitted to the specified address. The right is reserved to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities in the process.
