The work consists of the removal and replacement of 8,900 linear feet of curb and 17,700 square feet of sidewalk, including other miscellaneous items related to concrete rehabilitation. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, and bid security furnished in Bond form must be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein, and each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in its opinion, offers the lowest responsive and responsible bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
