Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Norwalk, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; 6,750-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.

The proposed project will include the construction of a new 9,000 sf Pre Engineered Metal Building to be used as the local re station in the Village of Norwalk on the corner of Main Street and W. South Street. The building is to consist of 6,750 sf for vehicle storage, and 2,250 sf force, utility, and restroom facilities below a 2,250 sf precast concrete mezzanine. The plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components are to be design-build under the guidance of provided bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner. QA date - 2-6-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
