Sealed bids are invited for the construction of phase 1 street and utility replacement on North Street and Church Street in Norwalk, Wisconsin. Major items include installation of 800 linear feet of 8" PVC sanitary sewer, 5,550 square yards of pulverized pavement, 3 sanitary manholes, 3,300 tons of aggregate base, 1,230 linear feet of 6" PVC watermain, 1,100 tons of HMA pavement, 155 linear feet of 8" PVC watermain, 2,470 linear feet of curb and gutter, 750 linear feet of 36" RCP storm sewer, and 420 square yards of 4" PCC sidewalk. A certified check or bid bond for at least 5% of the maximum bid must accompany each bid. The contractor must comply with federal wage rate regulations, non-discrimination requirements, and all relevant federal labor standards. The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act, requiring that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project be produced in the United States. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid most advantageous to the Village. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after opening without consent.
