Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Proposals are being solicited for Project 2501B (Asphalt Replacement Program) including mill/removal of 43,353 SY of asphalt pavement, pulverizing 1,969 SY of asphalt pavement, 52,221 SY of base fine grading, placement of 10,672 tons of hot mix asphalt, adjustment of 48 manhole castings, replacement of 45 water valve stem tops, and other miscellaneous associated items. The work covers multiple streets and is scheduled to begin on various dates, with all projects to be completed by September 30, 2026 (weather permitting). Sealed bids are required, accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the bid proposal. If awarded, the contract and bond must be executed and filed within ten days. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or accept the one most advantageous to the City. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after the scheduled closing time without consent of the Board of Public Works. Prevailing wage rates are not required.
